A space to be seen
On August 15, SheBuilds hosted an intimate in-person hangout with our founder, Remi Odunsi, themed ‘Who You Need To Become To Build What You're Called To Build.’ Over 100 women came together for the event.
It wasn't your typical event. No pressure to perform, no scripts to follow. Just women showing up as they are. Over bingo games, karaoke, and candid conversation, attendees opened up about womanhood, grief, career, and nation-building, with Remi offering answers and clarity in real time, including one-on-one moments with those who wanted to go deeper.
By the end, strangers had become friends. There was laughter, there was good food, and there was a rare kind of ease many said they'd never experienced in a room like this before. They didn't just attend, they felt seen.
